About our service

Gator Science Tutoring provides one-on-one online science tutoring sessions conducted over Zoom. All sessions are offered by independent student tutors connected to the Gainesville academic community. This service is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Florida.

Booking

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a session. We will confirm availability and send a confirmation email before your session is scheduled. Sessions are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from us.

Payment

Payment is collected via Venmo (@Cole-Rosen-95) after session confirmation. Rates are posted on our website and are subject to change. A session package must be paid in full before the first session begins.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund or session credit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session start time may forfeit that session from the package. We reserve the right to reschedule in the event of tutor unavailability, with advance notice whenever possible.

Session conduct

All sessions are conducted over Zoom. Students are expected to attend on time, be prepared with relevant materials, and behave respectfully. We reserve the right to end or decline future sessions for conduct that is disruptive or abusive.

Academic integrity

Our tutors help students understand material and develop problem-solving skills. We do not complete assignments, exams, or graded work on behalf of students. Use of our services must comply with your institution’s academic integrity policy.

Limitation of liability

Gator Science Tutoring is not liable for academic outcomes, technical failures outside our control, or indirect damages arising from use of our services. Our maximum liability in any dispute is limited to the amount paid for the session in question.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
